So something may be wrong with me. Nothing big I'm sure (but annoying). I'm not one for doctors. More of the stitch yourself up and get back at it kind of attitude. I've had this freaking cough for about 3 months now. Hasn't really gotten worse. Hasn't really gotten better. Sometimes absolutely sucks and I cough hours on end. Last night I got about 1 hour of sleep because of it and my chest/throat feels like it's on fire today. Most of the time just a steady cough every few minutes. Sometimes can't stop at all. Sometimes not bad for an hour or so. I don't know... bottom line is it has never gone away yet. I know there are greater medical issues out there, but this is annoying me now. And I dont' want to be hacking away when I'm on stand.

I used to hate going to the doctor. As I get older, I see and hear of more and more people I know who aren't with us anymore, and I relent.

Go to the doctor.

Turns out he was the herd witch doctor ... he sacrificed his life last year so the herd would hear your sorry arse this year .... I had a word of knowledge ...

 

Well that sucks! I didnt' think it could get worse.

And by the way.... I've seen a buck (a couple times) that has changed my entire goals of this season (or lifetime) . It's him or tag soup this year.

 

if you've been coughing that long i'd head to the doctor, you may have lung cancer or something else real bad creeping up on ya.
then again you may be perfectly fine, i dunno but after that long i'd go get it seen to!

Definitely see a doctor but I would start with an allergist.

 

i get this once in a while... doc prescribed me a cortizone based inhaler (symbicort) and after about 1-2 wks it clears up... after that I can stop using it until I have a recurrence, which is usually only after I get a cold or something and the cough doesn't go away... works like a champ....

 

Doctors are for losers. You just need a hug.
