No idea...I use all ladders. I'll be interested in following the thread though.

For cheap stands, I have been buying Rivers Edge and Big Game stands. For $50 I think they are hard to beat if you are wanting quantity more than quality.

I have sat in expensive stands and cheap ones. Not really a big difference to me. Save your money.

I use all menards hang ons. I picked then up on close out for like $25. Not the lightest stands on the market but they are solid & I am on year 3 with mine & no trouble so far.

Lone wolf. Set up 10 trees with hangers and carry one stand to all of them.

Millenium Treestand! The M50 or the M100. They both use the Cam Lock Receiver. Hang different Receiver at each tree, carry the stand with you. HANDS DOWN the MOST COMFORTABLE Loc-on Stand you will EVER sit in! You can sit in it 10 hours or more during the Rut and not get uncomfortable. My M100 is my Rut Stand! Once you own one, you will not want to sit in another loc-on.

I sold my Millenium. They are not that good to bow hunt out of and are a little noisy

Rivers Edge Bigfoot XL and Big Game Treestands Boss XL are great. Big platform, comfortable 2" foam cushion that dries fast after rain, and you can get them on sale for $55-$70 even before the season. Only thing-go to the hardware store and get a few 23 cent nylon washers to put in the joints to quiet the creeks. Much cheaper than blowing $250 on a Lone Wolf lock on. The size of buck you shoot is not proportional to the money you spend on the stand. My big 13pt was shot out of a $35 cheap piece of crap.

I'm a muddy fan. Muddy outfitter lite at bass pro is 79$ right now. Smaller platform than the original outfitter stand but with size 14 boots I find it easy to move around on. Plus for half the price it's tough to justify for a few extra inches of platform.

Big foot at farm and fleet. The normal size one is $30 and the xl is $50. Been using them for years.

Im a big fan of all Rivers Edge stands and Muddy. Both relatively cheap and both strong, I wouldn't go to cheap when it comes to a platform 20' up in a tree.
