We have 7 Bushnell Trophy Cams at our deer camp! They have worked great! very reliable, and easy to set up! Any problems we have had have been operator error. they are $$$ but you know they will work great and take awesome pictures!

    Bushnell here too.
Didn't keep the photo, but mine picked up an owl flying by at night. It was not blury or distorted and it was nearly centered.
I just got mine last July and has taken a lot of photos, still on the original batts.

The best out there is subjective. It really depends on your needs and what you're willing to shell out. I too am in the market for a couple new cams this year to replace a beaten up WGI cam that actually works fairly well, but is falling apart (junk) and a cuddeback that works half the time.

I personally will not pay a lot of cams, only because I live right in the middle of bear country and have had a couple cams torn up in the past. That and I just don't feel great about leaving a $500 bill hanging off the side of the tree all year long. I like to run my cams year round most of the time, only pulling them out of the woods for about month, to check them over and get them ready to go again.

That said, there are two that jump out right now. The Covert MP6 and the Spypoint IR5. Both cams have gotten very good reviews on Chasinggame.com, a place that really gets technical with testing and is very well known. Both of these cams can be bought for less than 150. I can buy 3 of them for the price of a Reconyx and be just as happy.

I've ran bushnell trophy cams and have had stellar performance from them. The battery life and reliability sold me on them. I've tried others but I always sell em and add another trophy cam!

I have 5 cameras...for the money the best ive found is the Wildgame Innovations Red 6. Fetter than my stealth cam, bushnell and moultries.

Ok, here is my opinion based on my use of A BUNCH of different cameras. Covert, IMO, for the money - you can't go wrong.

Bushnell & Wildgame Innovations aren't companies I want to support. I'd rather support a company that is smaller, and actually cares about their products and customer service. Covert is that!!!!

I don't even own a Covert (not yet anyway) but I know first hand their customer service Is top notch. I don't own a Covert so I can't throw them In the mix here but with all the cams I've owned (Cuddeback, Reconyx, Bushnell) the best cam I've owned hands down Is a Reconyx.
