So I was wondering what you guys think is the best trail camera on the market for say $75 - $200 . Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
There are several good ones in that price range but in my honest opinion, and for the money, the Browning Strike Force is the best one out there. I have two and I am very satisfied with them. Blessings...........Pastorjim Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Second that... I have two of the sub micro strike force hd cameras. Awesome camera. I just picked one up off ebay for about $75 a month ago.
All of the Browning Strike Force line of cameras starting back from 2015 to current 2017 models are fantastic.....I've used many of them, I'm running the 2017 models this year the PRO version of the Strike Force its great.... Creeks
I picked one of these up a couple months ago. I just put it out last weekend to give it a test. I'm curious how it performs. I do like that it only has to take 6 AA batteries.
I bought a Browning Strike Force it has taken over 1400 pictures and the batteries are still at 97%, very clear night and day pictures.
Wow sounds like the Browning Strike Force is the way to go. Thanks for all the info Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I get 6+ months between battery changes (averaging 400-600 pics every 2-3 weeks), so I haven't bothered with checking into external packs. I believe $129 is MSRP for the camera alone, so that's pretty good.. but I shopped around and waited for the right deal and was able to pick mine up $80 each. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have two Bushnell Cameras that take decent pics. The pics I have added were taken on a corn field just to see what is moving across the area. I realize it may be tough to tell exact distance so the next time I go change the SD card I will range the distance from one side of the field to the other. I have this specific camera set to field watch mode so it takes pictures on a specific schedule while also taking additional pictures when the camera is not scheduled to take pics.
https://www.radixtrailcameras.com/ better battery life than browning cameras with 2 fewer batteries. And image quality is not even a close comparison. Very compact and easy to hide too. 2 year warranty.
Browning would be my recommendation as well and I have used about 70% of the brands at one time or another.
How long has this company been around? How long have you used their cameras? Made in China I assume? Along with your comments... I like the size and the camo but I do not like what appears to be an external LCD screen. The sun has a way of killing those in my past experience. Any concern that you have there? Anyway thanks for the recommend cause I hadn't heard of these so I may give them a look the next time I get $150 burning a hole in my pocket.
It is a fairly new company. Yes they are made in China. Every camera except Reconyx is. I have not heard of any cameras having issues with external screens.
Yea I know that everything other than Reconyx (and Spypoint I believe) is made in China. I was looking to see if maybe "made in the USA" could be another selling point for these guys besides the ones that you mentioned but given the price I had already figured that they are certainly made in China. Since you noted that it is a new company... I'll assume that the cameras may not have been in the field long enough for exposure to the sun on the LCD screen to show itself as an issue yet. I'm not saying it will. It is just something that I would be worried about down the road. I see that this outfit is based in Iowa. Given the Busbice debacle... maybe Lee and Tiffany will jump in with the local boys and start repping these next year. More likely though that they follow the cash and just move to another big established name. I mean who in their right mind would recommend WGI cameras unless the money was the main factor?
Got a Browning and like it, but I have to go with my stealth g42ng as my favorite. Just bought another one on sale for $90. I do not think my browning is the strike force, so might need to look at one of those next time as well.
Got several Brownings. Recon force and spec ops extreme cams Seem To be doing pretty good for me even older 2015 spec ops Do great. The Dark ops Elite hd cams hammer out the pics but the audio for video sucks
