I been doing alittle research on the best trail cameras and it seems that Reconyx is the top of the line. I am looking for a reliable camera that doesn't spook deer and takes good day and night photos and videos while not breaking the bank. What I guess I'm asking is for some user input.....

    Thanks
    Buddy

You are correct. My recommendation would be the HC600, but it don't shoot video.

Yeah those cameras are awesome, but what about cameras that are under $200?

Then maybe he should start another thread and ask his question, he might get better results instead of hacking this 1.

It actually was in the original question

    Best Trail Camera?

I been doing alittle research on the best trail cameras and it seems that Reconyx is the top of the line. I am looking for a reliable camera that doesn't spook deer and takes good day and night photos and videos while not breaking the bank. What I guess I'm asking is for some user input.....

So seeing that alone tosses Reconyx out of the equation and doesn't shoot video like he wanted so actually the thread was hijacked in the 1st reply by you Just my .02

Thanks for the replies fellas. I think Reconyx makes a camera with video capability but they are alittle pricey. From what I'm hearing I'm thinking about going with a "Black Out" or" No Glow" IR camera. Anyone have any experience with any of these cameras.

Update: The Reconyx has a Rapid Fire option which the claim to be near video with 2 pics per second..

While doing my "research" I came across this web-site and thought I'd post it for everyone

Yes they are pricey, but in my endless hours of research and testing many different cameras in my opinion they are worth the extra money. I've personally never read anything negative about their customer service either.

Reconyx makes both a no glow and a low camera. They do not make a camera that shoots video, but their rapid fire option is pretty awesome. I have an HC600 myself along with some other brands that i've been happy with as well. I have 3 bushnell low glow 119466 cams, and so far this has been a great camera.

If you'd like to read more about these and other cameras i would suggest you go here: http://www.chasingame.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=22&sid=c4c30a8a1a0ed9f0d9471ee870f4e670
