Glad to see everyone saying good about the M-80, I just bought one and hung it yesterday. Anyone have any experience with the Stealth Cam UNIT? I put the stealth cam out a couple weeks ago with brand new energizer batteries and it only lasted 3 or 4 days then died.

I have the wildgame innovations. One of the best cams i have ever bought and i believe i bought it for around 80 bucks. Not a bad price for a good quality camera.

I wish I could say the same but I am on my third one and still having problems periodically with mine. When this thing actually takes pictures its amazing, but when it decides to act up it is a real pain in the rear!

I have to agree with both the Bushnell and Moultrie guys. I've been very happy with my Bushnell Trophy Cams, but picked up a couple of M80s and for the money they can't be beat. I will stock up on a few more and I've got a pile of rechargeables to run them, not that you need to change batteries but every 6 months and that's after over 10,000 pictures.

Well i bought a couple M80's I put it to the test the last couple nights and got some really good quality pics of a rat that has been eating candy bars at the golf course snack shop. Seems as if this guy has his dinner between 12:30 am and 1:30 am. We'll have to put an end to that soon. Maybe do a push or something and see if we can get him moving during the day. Or sit there with a .22 around midnight and blow him away.

best trail cam for under 150

I have a m-80 and covert 3.0. Both are great trail cams and have their pros and cons. I like them both and would recommend either one. I have not been a big moultrie fan through-out the years. I hope the m-80 proves me wrong.

    delay on m-80

m-80 says 15 seconds but is actually one minute this is the biggest downfall on camera. I seem to like everything else. Some blurry night pictures at times. Covert 3.0 can be set and works 30 seconds but is 3 megapixel compared to five. Great day pictures but just average night pictures. Better than some of my older 5.o megapixel camera's though.

I believe there is a firmware fix available from Moultie that addresses that issue. I have found the link on the M-100 page, but I'm just not sure if it is also for the M-80 or not. I was kinda hoping they would put that on the M-80 page so I could update the camera.

I ended up buying 2 more from Scheel online at $99.00 and just received them yesterday. Can't wait to get them out in the field.

I've always had really crappy luck with trail cams.
I do like my bushnell, and they stand behind their warranty no questions asked (I started with a $70 walmart special and now after replacing 2 on warranty they sent me a really nice trophy cam, no problems since)
I also like moultrie customer service. I picked up an old i-45 at the pawn shop and it was missing a few things and they just sent them to me for free. I thought it had died but I was playing with it the other night and it seems that it's just the pic delay. This old thing was 1 minute and I think the trigger speed was as well.

I did pick up a wildview mini 4 mp. It was $99 at a local retailer. I put it out the other night so I'll go back in a couple days and let you know how it's coming along.

I just picked up a Wildgame Innovations micro 6 the other day. Specs and reviews seemed decent on this little cam. I'm checking it this weekend, so time will tell. If it doesn't do a good enough job, I'll probably unload it for an m-80.
