Looking to buy a trail cam for public land. Only want to spend around $100 plus or minus, and want a no-glow as well. Ready, Set, Go!

    Thanks guys!

I recently bought a Moultrie A-20 for $84.99, and like it for the most part. It takes really good daytime photos. The nighttime photos aren't great, but they're good enough to tell what you've got out there. It is not a no-glow though.

Yes - The Stealth G42ng is a great cam in that price range. I'm pretty sure they are discontinued but are well worth the $$ if you can find them.

G42's can still be ordered. They'll typically run about $115.

I run the cheapest camera I can find that are half decent on public land since people are so disrespectful these days. Rather be out 50-80 dollars rather than 100 or two! For private land I have some coverts and little more expensive cameras, feel more comfortable paying more when on private grounds, but still nothing is safe these days!

I saw these the other day on EBay, the newer Moultrie A-5 for $58.99 free shipping.

Same camera but in a two pack for $113.99 free shipping.

Here is the older version of the same camera, I have a few of these for public land and they do the job...$36.95 free shipping.

Wildgame Innovations Cloak 8 Lights Out Camera | eBay

Get some Wildgame cams for public land. I got the Wildgame Cloak 8 (8mp) It's the no glow. Di<ks has them for $59 on clearance and you get an extra 25% so they are $45. I had a coupon for 20% off (easy to find online) and got it out the door for $38.

Also the Axe 5 isn't bad, not a no-glow but it can be found for $40 on sale

I would say look at the Browning Strike Force Elite for low glow or a Browning Dark Ops for no glow...they'll be just over $100
I have 4 Brownings and I like them all even the cheapos
The Stealth Cam G42NG is supposed to be good and can be had for $115 on Amazon
I will also say look at Field and Stream if you have one nearby as this week you can get a Bushnell Essential E2 low glow for $79 if you turn in an old trail cam...I might be picking one of those up

Amazon has some cheapies for less than $100. For that kinda budget you get what you pay for.

Covert had Mpe5s for $70 recently but they are all sold out.

The cheapest camera you can find that run on Double A batteries and not "C's". From what I have read, the C's can't handle the cold and then that kills the battery life. Double A's seem to last a lot longer? So the cheapest camera that runs on Double a's?
