Best time to plant white clover in Wisconsin

    I am new to planting food plot. I was wondering when the best time to plant white clover in Wisconsin? I will only be hunting over the food plot in the fall Oct/Nov and it's only going to be 1/4 acre. I would like your thoughts on it?

    I personally would plant it in the middle of next August and use a cover crop like Winter rye.
