Best time to buy target?

    im looking to buy a target to practice on during the summer...what would be a good target that will last along time and can have broadheads and field points shot at it...also what time of the year would be the best time to purchase??

    As far as which target to get, I don't think you'll have any complaints with the Rinehart 18-in-1. It is made of a self healing foam and they guarantee that you will not shoot through it in a year (using field points or broadheads). And, if you do somehow manage to shoot through one of these things, they'll send you a new one free of charge.

    I think here on bh.com the target is somewhere around $90 and, while it may seem like that's quite pricey, its likely that this thing will last you for years. It took a long time for me to be convinced to finally get one of these, but now that I have I'll never shoot another target.

    ps. 2 finger broadhead removal is nooooo problem :D

    See the writeup on the new Rhino Rhinoblock on the staff blogs at this site. It looks like everything you could want in a target. I'm gonna get one as soon as they come out.

    exactly how big is the 18-1?? it says 15x15x15 but if thats the whole thing then one "square" is not very big at all...im deciding between a "block" target and the 18-1 now...thanks

    I just bought a Block 4x4 layered foam target with game face design and its holding up well
