Finally the US Gov't is going after the after market companies that sell emission bypass products. Crack down on the idiots that want to put a flag up in the back of the pick up and roll some coal.

Is it really one of the best things in life to have the gov tell us how to live?

Every dumbass that they can take off the road is a bonus. I am not a big government kind of guy but you can't have business selling products that bypass emission systems.

That is a pretty broad brush you're painting with. I'm a muscle car enthusiast and some of those gov agencies don't know their hand from a hole in the ground. Some of their legislation is trying to ban things that have nothing to do with emissions.

You'll never get all the dumbasses off the road by banning performance items. I'll also venture to say that there are more dumbass drivers that have nothing to do with aftermarket items than those that have/want them.

Besides, this administration is trying to kill all fossil fuel vehicles and they'll be gone soon enough.

I am now going to go out and fire up my Chevelle and do some smoky burnouts........ because I can!

You and I will be long dead before that happens. Our great grand children will be graduating college before that happens.

Our grid will not handle that kind of extra load.

Not saying that you should compromise your muscle car. I am talking about your average city slicker driving a lifted diesel truck. They do not pull anything much they just want to roll smoke. Second you can not manufacture and advertise products that circumvent federal standards, you will eventually lose it all, the feds do not play nice.

Got my George Brett card has been in the hard cased acrylic since it was signed, pristine. Kinda funny you know how a person asks if you could eat dinner with anyone in history who would it be? I would think that George and I would throw down a few cocktails and I could ask him to explain the story behind the story that would be worth it.

    Emissions suck.
First thing I did when I bought my current diesel is rip off the cat and the restrictive factory muffler. They need to breathe to help lower EGT's when pulling a heavy load up the grades around here. Put on a resonator so it doesn't drone real bad. You'd never know until I stand on it. Does not roll coal.
Puking out black unburnt diesel fuel is from putting a programmer on it so it pushes more fuel, but then spending the rest of your money on a lift kit to compensate for...well, you know...rather than a turbo upgrade. If you give it more fuel, you gotta give it more air.

To be cool these days you only need to buy half the lift kit, just for the front of the compensation rig.
