Great to see him getting back to living a normal, healthy life. I pray it continues and only gets better.

WAYYYY to many times for some. Laughed at the wife she brought out the rubber mallet. What ya gonna do with that thing? LOL. Got out the big 10 pound hand tamper. That does the trick. Oh, and because I put drainage gravel down and want to keep the sand off, if put geotextile fabric under the gravel, set the block for level, then need to take the block out so I can flip the top of the fabric over and sew the edge. then place the block back into place. I tell ya, I must have mover 6 ton equivalent by now. It was 3 ton just to get it on the ground. I got muscles and joints I didn't know I had.
Sitting here in the pc room reading BH posts, sipping coffee and talking with the flock of turkey in the woods just a few yards away. What great practice!...clucks,purrs, putts and a few yelps. I got one or two hens fired up!
Yeah I suck. I picked up the bow last night, did some planning with the "yard" They put a 2 track thru the woods to get to the lake I am going to clear more woods and have a road that goes down to the lake and put in my own boat ramp.
It is like a Reggie White miracle I was ready to go on IR to end the season. Constant pain with spasms even with injections, PT, hot and cold packs. Was awake at 3:30 took some drugs took the dogs for a walk stepped in a pot hole and damn near fell, I caught myself and felt a pop that makes you almost puke. I turned around to head back to the house and wait a minute no spasms I can lift my feet up, did a little stretching feeling a lot better.
Only had that happen once. Usually it's the pop skiing stupid **** like stelping off a curb, followed by a pop and 2 weeks (or more of down time). Seldom the 'fixing' pop...
I have been doing chiro, massage, hot and cold packs, got the hips injected and was still miserable. It is the best I have felt in months not even a dull ache.
I feel your pain or did. I went through 4 years of hell, several Dr.s Ambulance rides to ER, one a chiro called the ambulance. Passing out from pain trying to crawl to bathroom. Slept in a recliner for two years. Then one day I fell on all fours. Next day no pain. Took months to walk normal again and a over decade to lose the weight I gained from it. Strange how Docs can't figure out how to help, when all you need is a simple Jolt. Feel Better
I had that once for 2 months. Nothing I did helped. Swung a battery out of the bed of my truck and the middle of my back felt like it snapped. Hurt so bad....then all the months of pain was gone a minute later.
The feelings that I’m feeling right now knowing that tomorrow morning I will be hunting has to be one of the best things in life.there really isn’t one word to describe the anticipation I’m feeling. An old timer I have been hunting with for 30 years or more calls it getting jerky. Anyway..... good luck to everyone else starting their season tomorrow , you probably know the feeling I’m talking about. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
