Or a little bonfire celebration of life that got a little out of hand? Never know when the wind is going to come out of nowhere

Headed to Smith Mountain Lake tomorrow for three days. Big Lake here in VA. Bringing all the kayaks and fishing poles....just want one of my kids to hook into a striped bass. :)

No the bugs are horrible at dark, like run in front of a car if you are a deer bad. Wife did the off yard spray not a dent.

This 15 yr old truck may be on one of her last voyages. Went full redneck and packed all 3 kayaks. Hell with it. Here we come lake.

Hopefully you remembered the red flag on the kayak hanging furthest off the back... Wouldn't want to get pulled over by a cop

morbid; but true. My old man could go at any time due to his ticker but I have been part of his last 3 moves over the past 10 years and the amount of crap he has shed is amazing. Not kidding; probably over $100k in tools. Went from having 3 big barns to 1 to now none. When they moved from Indiana to a townhouse in Florida last year my mom laid down the law- if it didn't fit in a 20' U-Haul it went to Goodwill.

He packed it to the gills but even so; I am very thankful for that. Will be manageable to deal with on a weekend when the time comes.

Took 6 months to move my parents out of Manor Place, that was the actual address. My Dad tweaked when we said Pops it has to go, in his defense I was the same way at the ranch. Tell you what feels so good to have an easily manageable pile of ****.

So bird feeders up birds coming, watched the eagles fly into my bay to the left, along with king fishers, loons, and herons to fish tonight. I have to start trapping chipmunks and red squirrels.
