Yeah it is a nice lake not too big but very clean has all the good fish in it. Funny thing last summer was fishing this lake with my son in law I pointed to this house and said I could move to this lake in that house. Needless to say when it came on the market we pounced. Went into town this morning to the grocery story it is like stepping back in time 25 years. That is one of the best things in life.
I think that house looks like a lot of the pics Ive posted when describing my ideal living situation. Very happy for you Sota.
Kinda funny I had a tree in the pasture picked out where I wanted my ashes dumped, last night told the kids just dump me off the end of the dock.
Just think of it only being 1 hour drive back to that beautiful lake at the end of the day. You done good!!! Congrats!
Local grocery store Paul and Kathy's have an awesome meat department they do a lot of smoking of meat. Picked up some breakfast Patties cheesy hash brown patties made with ground pork, so dang good.
Well first weekend at the lake, kids and spouses, their dogs, wife's neice and nephew and their kids, the inlaws it was great. Know what was great though too? When they all went home. Back to peace and quiet.
Job opening, for your wife... https://abc11.com/sports/duke-womens-basketball-head-coach-steps-down/6291863/
hahaha! Big time job. No way at this time. She inherited one of the worst rosters in America in D1 in 2018. 3 wins all year. 2019--12 wins. Had the freshman of the year in the conference who also made the 1st team all conference. First in school history to make first team all conference. Set the all time rookie scoring mark, both season and per game average. Another freshman on the all freshman conference team. Her top assistant became a head D-1 coach and one of her seniors is going to play pro ball in Germany. Pretty big change from Year 1 to 2. Excited to see how this unfolds.
I am trying to convince my wife to get a lake house on Kerr Lake one day. Fantastic fishing and I could access most of the hunting spots via boat. 26 bow only public spots surround the lake. I couldn't think of a better situation.
Finally found a bar that carries Old Mil. Had to have one for my dad yesterday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Like some guy said, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." Pretty sure that job would more than double salary. Also puts a Kerr lake house in reach, and there are decent hospitals in the area. The down side, in that area, many people hate cops.
I have close neighbors now, well one actually. It was a major concern for me in that I didn't have close neighbors before. Rudy and Jane are awesome, recently retired. Very nice people you can tell, not like they will become jerks in the future. They did point out the "problem" neighbors but they are 3 doors down and plenty of cover in-between. Funny 2 neighbors have big garages and they said they built them pretty much because the old biddy down the block said they could not, second guy said he was smart enough to keep the plans quiet till the permits are in place. Evidently it is pretty entertaining to watch the old biddy get all pissed off because she can not protest a permit after it has been granted. Who lives their life like that getting in the way and protesting what another person does on their property?
