A.J. is nearly healed! He was able to walk across street when I put the nest box in new coop. He was not out there 5 mins when he dug up either a big mouse or small field rat where an old stone pile use to be in front plot. Of course refused to give it up and ate it. Good thi g he got his worming pill last night. Scouts box muzzle arrives tomorrow ,so we can all be out together safely.
My wife often gets on me about my vocabulary, we are empty nesters I don't need to watch my mouth. She does not appreciate my usage of the F word. Well last night she attempted to assemble the train tracks around the Christmas tree. The track locks together kinda hard and there is a connecting piece on each side, I made certain I was busy doing anything but getting involved in that task. It wasn't long before she she cursing, here is a hint when your wife is pissed and cursing like you do, don't point it out. I eventually did help out and we both were cursing at the cheap POS set up. Didn't help I pointed out I did was not the one who bought it. Happy Holiday the grandkids won't give a crap about the new train it will break like the old train did.
If I didn't swear pretty much on a regular bases, that is at home and only around dogs ,birds and hubby, I'd end up in jail.
Kids and grands were at the house last evening for a pre Christmas feast and present exchange. Found out, grand #3 is ‘in the oven’.
for quite sometime i had somewhat hi blood pressure, doc kept asking me about diet etc. well, i do not eat salt, i eat6 my veggies, i eat fruit, i walk 2 to 3 miles a day, he asked about stress, i told him oh yea, between work and everyday idiots, i am always up! HE SAID CURSE, SWEAR, GET IT OUT !! blood pressure has been normal ever since, asked him to give me a prescription to show my wife,, he did
I redid the train tracks, just wasn't going to work around the Christmas tree. I put the tracks around the table by the tree and made a point to not curse and hummed Christmas carrols while I was doing it my wife looked at me and complimented me again by saying what an ass.
My son finished his first college class with an A. That's the only class he took last semester, but guess what?I'm very proud. He just signed up for 2 more this next semester. The level of persistence within him is amazing.
Good! My son once carried 19 hours in engineering. Quote: If I do that again, just shoot me. Back during the days of the draft, one had to carry 12 hours to be considered full time. Less than that, you got a letter from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Grandmonsters are coming to stay at the lake Wednesday-Saturday, we just got the house back together after Christmas still finding nerf darts. Kids love shooting the taxidermy.
