My son wanted to meet me at work Thursday to pick up his dog we have had for 2 weekends. He usually meets me around 7 am. I am headed out of town Thursday and didn't plan to go to the office before leaving, I am sleeping in.

 

Northern lights tonight, nice to be in an area with zero light pollution

 

Just saw a few photos of the northern lights taken over Nashville, Tennessee. Light pollution at its worst.

 

Complain about light pollution but be mindful why we need to have cities well lit.

 

So today was an intended sleep in day, I woke up when my wife's alarm went off but I fell back to sleep till 6:45 this is amazing I have not slept like this since I was young.

 

I made a flippant comment when it was cold and I hate it said something my wife picked up on. We both miss the place in Florida but we do not want a place with the space to invite groups, 2 bedroom place has to have a pool and space to store a flats boat. Wife has run the numbers it is possible.

 

I’m partial to Destin and regret not buying a place there during the BP fiasco…

I left my house Thursday and put on my grandpas gold bracelet to wear to my uncles funeral. I got to my hotel in Oshkosh and realized the bracelet was gone. I thought I lost it forever got home today and found it laying on the floor in the garage. I will never wear it again out of fear of loosing it again. I think I have a deal with my cousin to trade the bracelet for the jap rifle my grandpa brought back from ww2.

 

There is an idea of Dark Skies where light is not focused up in the sky but is eliminated but still lighting the land.

 

My uncle's program from his funeral service and the back there was a QR code to down load his play list off of Spotify. I thought that was a very cool memory to share.

 

I'm putting this here for unlike last time they are getting me in in 2 days and not 5 mos. A good thing

I am going to ask for prayers for it looks like I have growth back at the nose cancer surgery area. Called today they want me in Wednesday.

Going to have lunch with my grandson at his school this morning. I am bringing him his requested lunch chicken strips bbq sauce fries and chocolate milk from Dairy Queen.

My invitation must have been lost in the mail. Enjoy the time with him. Mine are growing up too fast. One is engaged, wedding October 2026.

Thanks guys. Hubby's driving me in just incase my surgeon decides to do more removal or just a biopsy tomorrow. The appointment at 1pm. So we'll see.
