Not a fan of sushi or asparagus, celery or cucumbers. Unless cucumbers were made into pickles. Only asparagus I liked was by a local chef- peeled the stalks and wrapped in bacon. Most asparagus I have had was like chewing on horse weed. If you were raised in a farm, you know what that is.
Edit: Wife's late uncle lived in the Seattle area. MIL would bring back vacuum packed salmon.

I recently replaced a couch the old couch was brought to work, I took the skid loader out and rammed the couch into a tree on the edge of the parking lot and stabbed it with the bucket until it was reduced to pieces small enough to throw in the dumpster. Not a bad way to start a Monday morning. Never have a suede leather couch with dogs especially a tan one, done cleaning that sob once a month.

My sister sent me a pic today I hadn’t seen before. It’s from almost 26 years ago. I had just gone through almost 24 hours of hellish initiation, my two oldest children had pinned my anchors on at the pinning ceremony and we were back at mg house in Whidbey Island, WA.

My Mother (pictured) was so proud of me.

Two days later I deployed for Saudi Arabia. It seems like a lifetime ago.

I’ll be 55 in October. I seen 100 year old dude a few weeks ago make a jump. I wouldn’t advise waiting that long.

Enjoy it. I subscribe to the thinking 'why would anybody want to jump out of a perfectly good aircraft'.

sota, lived in the boondocks in central Kentucky for five years. Every farm had at least one pond...full of fish. A lady showed my wife how to clean even the small bluegill and fix by what they called oven frying. Hard to beat fresh fish from the river, pond or saltwater.
Here's what is "the best thing" IMO: fresh fish fixed in any way, tartar or cocktail sauce, fries, hush puppies, coleslaw, potato salad, iced tea or a cold beverage of your choice, followed up by some kind of dessert. Best served with a scoop or two of ice cream over it. Is it lunch time yet?

No such thing. I hear you though. It’s like anything else. I played tennis a little as a kid but haven’t tried pickleball yet. I’ll probably try it at some point. I’m just not that interested at the moment.

He figured at 100, what did he have to lose? A local guy, 95, did one strapped to the jumper. Had an E-6 try to get me to go airborne. No, thanks.

Sorry we have lakes here 11,150 to be exact the concept of a man made stocked pond is something I have never seen. I do have a dock light that is on a photo cell and I feel pellets every night, fish in a lake can be trained like pond fish.
