Will it continue to be a working farm or will it be developed for housing. One of our old farms in Ohio went for a non-farming project.
It was bought by locals that will keep it in production. My brother kept a chunk of it and has plans to build a barndominium.
46 th anniversary today. She’s gonna keep me she says! First song we danced to at the reception was Chicago’s Color My World. We saw Chicago in concert Saturday night. Was a good time. They don’t sound quite like they did back in the day. Too loud, amps over driven, and speakers distorted. Or maybe that was my new hearing aids doing that. Anyway we had a wonderful date night. Too few and far between these days. Will have to work on that.
Found out that Arby's brought back their potato cakes, going to have to go to the ATM to launder cash I would get the look if the statement showed me eating fast food. Beef and cheddar with Arby sauce and a potato cake on it.
I decided to make the conscious effort to take a pontoon ride every night, luckily the grand dog will be here for weeks and he always wants a ride. Serenity now. I keep forgetting to grab Pita's ashes to spread on a boaters, she loved her boat rides, could have been the pup cup ice creams but that is were she belongs.
Hear ye! Hear ye! We celebrated 53 years today! It is fortunate that she didn't kill me for one reason or another over the years.
I finished out coaching my youngest son's baseball team this past weekend. Came up one run short in the championship game, but it was a great season and a heck of a final game. If anyone hasn't coached youth sports before, it's one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling things I've ever done. Seeing these little dudes learn how to play ball, the excitement on their faces when they get their first real hit or make a play in the field, is awesome. 10/10 would recommend.
