Claims? Seems there were witnesses. Surely someone was sitting by the emergency exit door to see it. It's always "alleged" even if they get caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

Celebrated our 35 yr anniversary tonight, a couple days early. Took the wife to the local museum to see an exhibit she mentioned and then to a high end seafood place for a 7 course dinner.

Only odd part was Metallica is playing at the football stadium tonight a few blocks away, so there was a lot of traffic to dodge (80,000 extra people does that)…no headbangers at the museum or restaurant…

Happy anniversary. We will have 53 years this month.
Story: Several years ago, I was sent the video of a couple who had been married 80 years, He was 104 and she was 102. Bright as anything. He unconsciously put his hand on her leg. She laughed, "That's why it has lasted so long!"

Had my yearly check up with my doctor had him do a lab order to check my ferritin level (iron). Test result cam back in the normal range 340, hot damn this is down from a high of 3180. Stage 4 liver failure my ass. I am 59 not on any RX meds I am so incredibly happy to have that ferritin level down.

When I got that diagnosis my wife was thinking the worst, I told her don't worry till you see me worry I was arrogant and said nope not having it I will be just fine, I think it kinda pisses her off that I was right.

Congrats on the good report. My cousin said she would like to go to a doctor and have him/her say, "Never seen that before."
Ponder this: My 45 yo daughter is very careful about her diet, exercises, etc. Today she was told she has high cholesterol and was put on medication. Daughter is an NP and that threw her for a loop.
However: A friend is a strict vegetarian and had high cholesterol. OTOH, another said he and his father could eat anything and their cholesterol was never above 40. Seems genetics plays a lot in one's health.
Bumper sticker: Eat right, stay fit, die anyway.

Getting the news from the surgeon today that what we feared was ovarian cancer was a benign dermatoid tumor.

Built up some more FIL cred. I instructed my SIL how to easily trap a wood chuck, he had that wood chuck in the trap in under an hour.
