I haven't seen it yet but test drove one in dark green a few months ago. I believe this is the one he got, I loved the interior color. As long as it wasn't white, paint color wasn't an issue. I'm absolutely a NO WHITE HOUSE NOR CAR It's a serious issue with me, always has been. https://youtube.com/shorts/f1F6J6ucTJg?si=m-gubGfRpPfx2FCi
They gave us polyester high vis vests to respond to highway and freeway fires, said you want us to wear combustible clothing to a fire where the fire is our second concern? Nope
So back in Florida dealing with some issues, bad components from a transformer failing. I got on site at 9 am nobody there looking over my shoulder. It was cloudy so not hot, no rain. I slowly and methodically replaced the components, rewired them in. It was wonderful almost relaxing nothing went wrong it was pretty easy, pictures on a phone are so helpful. I am done for the day. Even better changed my flight I am going home tonight.
Lol they called on new car. Hubby even had a hitch installed to take Gator to camp Anyway it's all set to pick up. But I had to check the weather report. Hey this will be my last car. 67 that is what it is. I need to make sure it lasts a few years. I mean the Marquis is a 2006 and still only has 89,000 on it. But finally rusted to hell. Hill country, nuff said. Well we have snow on Tuesday, two days of nice weather after that, 4 days of rain. My actual birthday, nice weather. I do not want to drive it home 11/2 hrs and up this hill until the rain helps wash the road salt away. Yep, I'll have to start selling my chicken eggs to cover my car washes, it may get expensive
You are going to love the new vehicle, they are so quiet inside now. You may be frustrated initially with the electronics but you will learn to love it. Heated seats and steering wheel is so nice. The smooth quiet ride enjoy.
Yes you are right! they need a heads up for my pick up to spend 1 hr setting it up to my phone and teaching me about all the gizmos. I already have anxiety over the drive home alone...lol Oh just got back from store, buying ingredients for hubby's favorite raisin oatmeal cookies and getting his favorite, coffee ice cream. With my arthritis that heated steering wheel will be a God send for sure. There are days I can't walk until Ive had my back against a heating pad or I take a hot tub soak. Oh, the Marquis is actually only 82.888 miles on engine. I have been scolded YOU HAVE TO DRIVE THIS MORE, TO AVOID MICE! If they only knew my plans....heeheehee. I am legal crossbow all season , live in an area of a bunch of great public hunting and trout ponds. I literally burnt myself out the last two years in the garden. I will have more time to explore areas with the grandson.
Girlfriends company bought her a new 2025 Chevy Equinox… feels like I’m driving a spaceship. Certainly different than my 2005 Buick Lesabre. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Phewwww...looks like we bought that Kia at just the right time! So now that the playing field may even out, perhaps American top three auto will learn a lesson . Do not expect american buyers if you want higher prices coupled with lower warrenties. On vehicals with more operating machanical issues.
My oldest cited in a FastCompany article. Is cool to see your kids hit, and reflect on, different milestones in their life. https://www.fastcompany.com/9130614...outlines-plan-turnaround-struggling-automaker
Was sent a picture today by a firefighter who worked at the firebase my jersey (nomex shirt) in the rafters, made me happy, proud, and sad. Kid I suggested he take the training and he passed it all and worked his first shift, and like me got lucky had a big fire his first shift. I am going back next week to do a pre shift briefing
That one takes me back. I happen to catch him in concert when he was touring with The Firm back in the 80’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Roberts work with the Honey Drippers, top shelf. If you do not like a jazz beat, Robert Plant will make you like it.
