So I have been on the search for a ski boat, not a fast boat that can pull a skier or a tube a real tow boat. I have been searching Craigs and Facebook in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa. I looked at a boat online and thought nice boat great shape low hours but the guy was kinda proud of the boat it was just a couple thousand than I wanted to spend. I was talking to a friend of mine that is in Wisconsin and a fellow boat/vintage vehicle searcher too. I was telling him I what I was on the hunt for and mentioned the boat. He texted me an hour later, he knows the guy who is selling the boat. I got the boat for the price I wanted to pay. Dream ski boat has a 351 Windsor engine less than 500 hours, always stored inside perfect interior. Mastercraft ProStar 19 closed bow. No wake made to ski and will hit 65 mph, oh and the sound of rumbling power.
Had a great time at a packed family fun business. Go carts, putt putt golf bounce house and arcade, batting cages and icecream/ grill restaurant. Grandsons and family . NOW please have our youngest grand son in prayers, he is in surgery having some major ear nose and throat stuff done again. Tonsils and adenoids removed , new ear tubes and an ear drum patch fixed.He has been in constant discomfort and pain for ears even after the last surgery. And has been a trooper. Now all this is bringing on infections like strep constantly. Prayers for his quick recovery and that this is a final fix please. Thanks in advance
He's out of surgery and doing well. In a lot of pain but doing well. The adenoids and both ears were are full of infection So they are trying to treat the ear infections. This is and has had an impact on his hearing
Thanks guys , he is such a good little kid. In pain and you could tell his equilibrium was off, he still had a huge smile and drove the carts ,played games and hit the bouse house then played a 21 hole round of putt putt. Speaking of, it's been decades and I do not golf. Several near hole in one misses, but par 2's. Until the guys were having a fit over it. I told them, this is why I shot instictive and nail rabbits with rocks..lol. I gave in and pulled the game.They then questioned what happened to your groove?...Aahhh I'm just tired
First of canning out of way Pickled Banana peppers with garlic and a few slices of Jalapeños. Turmeric and a fresh grape leaf per jar to help crispness...we'll see
So I decided to bite the bullet and get a self storage unit. 1 to keep the new boat in and 2 to store all the associated other stuff, like water toys in the winter and ice fishing stuff in the summer. I called to see what they were going to gouge me. sign a 1 year deal let 1 month free, $75 per month, that is a no brainer.
Our equipment mechanic came out for the JD, best thing he looked at the Dozer and agreed to take it to his shop for a rehaul. All hoses need replacing and everything else needs checks and greased. Man I can hardly wait!, we just need to get it trailered there. He took a property tour (checking noise I hear in Gator)and then a garden picking. He liked both

Had a great visit with landowner of my main property today. She was very sad. 3 yrs ago today she lost her husband. I loaded her up with deer meat and she asked me if i wanted any jelly. She cans and dehydrates all kinds of stuff. So she sent me out the door with 4 didferent types of jellys and blueberry syrup. She was going on and on about how she wished she had some paw paws that was her favorite and her husband ised to get them for her but she didnt know where. Hiding my smile and knowing that its just turning time for them to ripe i waved bye and told her if i ever saw any id bring her some. I knew right where to go. Brought her a back pack full and told her i could get her as many as she needed. That i found her husbands secret spot. She cried and cried and hugged me. I cried too. Dang it.
