Oops I think I did it again, but the boat is not for me it is for the boys to ski and tube. I mean the kids need to learn how to ski behind a MasterCraft, a boat made for skiing. I found one that I am going to look at, if the motor is solid with good compression it is going to replace the go fast. Nut job Craig's list guy, would not allow a compression test so I walked.
Bought a new bar and a new chain (not safety chain) for the saw today. I had a 18" cotton wood that broke at the base and hung up in the tree next to it. Short work of that tree, I love big shavings.
Grilled eggplant slices from the garden. Picked first 3. Today I checked I have 15 on plants, a couple of days from ripe. There are a bunch more flowers. Sweet no bitter skins. So good! 400 poppers in freezer already. They are just ramping up. Peppers are the perfect heat.
I doubt you're growing Chinese eggplant, but Sichuan Eggplant in Garlic Sauce is about as good as eggplant gets...provided you like spicy Szechuan Chinese. I never really was a fan of eggplant prior, but had a very long project in NYC with an inexpensive 1 Michelin star Chinese restaurant nearby. I ate there so often, I think I tried everything on the menu and it became one of my favorites.
Actually I did last year and we loved it. A series of...screw ups landed us with a full flat of blk. Beauties,. Gave some away but planted several dozen, counted 2o fruit this morning.
