Get some ice creepers to pull over your boots, took many a fall doing evening horse chores, the creepers are key to winter safety.

 

Just being home on a Friday

 

I actually have them, rubber slip on cleats, for the driveway cleaning. I don't like them on my woods hiking boots which is what I had on. A.J. rushed to me and straddled my torso as if I'd been attacked. He then allowed me to grab his collar pull down so I had leverage to get to my knees and stand. Gosh darn he's a heck of a dog!

 

Yeah the chihuahua can't do that she would just bark at me, her daughter would just lick my face.

 

Wife bought 2 more rocks to go with the patio set, instead of lamenting about the cost I will reap the benefits. She is lucky to be married to me and I am getting lucky.

Oldest stopped by with her brood carrying lunch today, just so happens that the lake is prime for ice fishing. Had a quick lunch and dragged the SIL down to the pond. 2 hrs. later there was 35 fish laying on the ice.

Sun is out, cold but got the drive, the across street end of drive and mail box shoveled out.

 

Hope everyone is well. I will return to posting regularly again at some point. Me and my best friend did this this morning as we were leaving the casino (there for his 40th bday). “One more $20” worked this time.

Go the green light from the daughter to bring the oldest grandson to Florida with us for a long weekend. It is gonna be a blast.

 

My niece will be swimming (again) in the Olympic trials later this year. Tough competition tho.

 

It's never easy being one of the best. I'll be rooting for her .

Had a meeting with ADP today, they are expanding their role with the company. I get my medical and dental life insurance free of charge but taxes took away that additional income. I also found out as chairman I get unlimited PTO time per year. That is funny because I didn't use half of the PTO last year. I have decided that this year I am going to use my PTO, I am not going to travel as much, I am not speaking at any conferences this year. I am taking Fridays off all summer too.

Avacado oil
3 onions sliced
1 front and 1 rear shank. I added an extra small 2# roast.
sundry seasonings (bl pepper, garlic, tajin, cumin...)
Jar of salsa Verde
1 can of chipolte peppers

Daughter and Son in law on a trip so grandma is staying over at the farm this week. I am going over for supper boys are having their favorite for supper, canned venison over rice with corn. I will go after chores are done, my wife can be the gate botch, I am not wallowing in mud and cattle crap, not today.
