Bump had a good day with the boys, had dinner root beer floats and watched Frosty the Snowman. Love it when the grandkids demand a sleep over.

Got my new arrows and release, I forgot to buy an arrow puller I have 3 arrows I can't get out of the neighbors deer target. Glad to see the old destroyer with pile drivers still hit all the way hard.

I do have to turn down the draw weight a little, disappointed I use to draw it easily, now I have to do the dreaded sky draw, and that will not work.

Feel no regret. Used to shoot 80#.
Down to about 60 now, and guess what? Still kills deer just fine.

However, I do use fixed blade heads. :poke:..

But I use titanium muzzy's no blade retention system, will just throw the arrow thru them. What bothers you more a muzzy mechanical or the fact that muzzy is made in china? Not arguing at all, just asking?

Shout out to Archery Country store in Rogers MN, stopped by to see how long it would take to get the draw weight changed. Guy told me 15 seconds asked if I brought the bow. I went to to the truck grabbed the bow and he got it done and charged me $3. Thank you.

My dang kids bought us a mini chest freezer for an early Christmas gift, a practical Christmas gift that I had no idea I needed. I do also have to brag on them a bit. Dinner was over my daughter and son washed all the pots and pans, took care of leftovers and by 8 pm it was like it never happened. Makes me happy to see them taking pride in their lake place.

The otter is back on the ice, great time of year watching the lake freeze over. We freeze over late because the lake is deep, the bay on the north side of the house is frozen and the ice extend out to the 12' of water make for the perfect ice shelf to watch the otter fish and play, the trumpeter swans feed right in front of the house while an eagle watched them.

I went to my processor with a few doe and they do hundreds of deer a year. While there I asked the guy " what's the best buck you have had in here this year" he responded with " just a few days before Halloween we had an awesome looking buck we caped that was almost 150 prolly 20inch wide"
I just smiled knowing who's buck it was but not needing to say it.

Still having a home this morning
    Being a workaholic.
Went in basement at 12a.m. to retrieve laundry. Smelled something hot like electrical near gas dryer ,washer and second frig.
Woke hubby up on couch . He wasn't pleased. Went down and unplugged fridge.
This morning we went on a tear down and clean up, issue...a now dead mouse stuck in frige fan. We had friends that barely made it out of their home due to a middle of night fridge fire. They described in detail just how furious a fire it was.
Everything thoroughly cleaned and put back together running fine and pushing cold air. That will be checked frequently the next week.

Oh having a brand new furnace being installed right now...no heat until estimated 5pm though.

Apparently they can't keep up with the new installs. I laughed and said sure before Biden and Hochol banish them. He looked at me straight faced and said...EXACTLY!...LOL..
we've been planning our for two years it's 30 yrs old

My son in law took my grandson squirrel and rabbit hunting yesterday, that pleases me greatly.
