Finally done at the dentist my mouth is back together, zero pain. Funny how pain drags you down from lack of sleep etc. Full of Vim and Vigor this afternoon.

More good news today, done with BP meds just have to monitor for a while. If you have an ailment and have access the Mayo is the place to go. They are on time with your appointment and I have never felt so sure the Dr and his staff were there to help me, even though research they treat you well. Plus results.

Had to pick my wife up at school yesterday because her vehicle is broken, we ended up going out for a few cocktails with a coworker and her husband. Not my cup of tea but I am trying, we ended up playing the meat raffle, again not my cup tea but I am playing along. Wife ended up winning the prized first drawing of the meat raffle, I selected the mega pack of boneless pork chops 24, the meat all comes from the local grocery store so I know it is good. I plan on grilling up a dozen for the dock pulling crew, I won't feel so bad having a beer watching them work if I am grilling for them.

My next flight I hit Million mile status on Delta also will be diamond medallion. I don't like being in the airport any longer than I have to but I will drink free whiskey in the club room.

So last night my wife gets a call from a friend of my sons, he had been up for weekends for the last 3 years. He live in the cities and was up in Little Falls for a corporate pheasant hunting event. He was in the neighborhood and wanted to stop by and say hi. Really appreciate that my son has considerate friends, great guy. I did text my son and said it was great your friend stopped by to visit, a hetro guy would not have done that, my son said LOL probably true.

The boys are coming to the lake Friday morning and staying for a sleepover. Love getting the FaceTime call. Love that the boys are at the age where they want sleep overs at the lake, that is why I moved here. The bunk beds, in the boys room now old enough.

Can't wait till the grandson can get his farmers permit at 15 and drive his brother to the lake. Being a grandparent is so fun I recommend it. I think I should find an old chevy pick up with a stick shift to restore for the boys.

Got to the house, forgot how much I love this place when nobody is here. I left myself 10 beers last time I was down, I was exhausted so I took a gummy had a few beers and slept on a lawn chair out in the screen porch by the pool. (my mom hated it when I called it the screen porch) Woke up and dozed listening to the frogs and the owls. Just beautiful and exactly what I needed to recharge.

Got done negotiating with the county attorney for a speeding violation in a construction zone, was supposed to be a $300 adder to my ticket. My neighbor couple doors down works for MN DOT, got me access to the information that the DOT declared construction complete before my citation glad to pay $156 for 79 in a 60 vs the extra citation on my record.

The bay is freezing up about halfway, keep expecting to see the last of the wood ducks but there are a couple dozen that flew in little bit ago. A couple of swans are here that is a sure sign, and the otters were fishing out front earlier. Cool time of year.

Was at the farm for my grandson's birthday party today, ordered up a doe. Looking forward to processing a deer after it is aged, separate the muscle groups by hand then trim, no fat no silver skin. Takes a long time and lots of scrap but there is no better venison.
