Got a brisket from the half of beef we split with my daughter. Or i should say i got PART of the brisket. About 6 pounds. That is nowhere near the entire brisket.I The butcher ground the rest. What part of i want the "packer" brisket do you not understand?
I am going through the freezer, still have about half a doe and we have a side of beef. I bought some whole chickens (12) a couple of weeks ago, some free range no gmo organic, these birds are small like they should be and delicious. Plus, the monthly shipment of Alaskan fish I doubled up the order last month. My sister is staying out at the farm so I've been supplying her and I feel comfortable through about July.
This will be me next weekend. Catching walleyes and drinking beers. Pic from last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Having a cook out with daughter and SIL after a hard day of play and yard work.. Just does get any better than filets, venison medallions and prawns on the barbeque...
Been looking at a few places and put an offer in on a place that got shot down, no counter and 3 weeks later asks if we are still interested, we were kinda but would require remodeling. The other place was at the higher end of what we wanted to spend, it was a stunning log home but getting to the dock would require earth work and had no garage. Today up at the daughters the realtor sent us a brand new listing. I fished the lake it is on last summer and saw the place and said I could live on this lake in that house. We are putting in a full asking price offer, contiginicy on selling the ranch that will be listed soon. We included a 30 day from listing bridge loan to show we want that place. Hope I do not have 2 house payments in August but I will be on the lake the in time for the 4th of July. 25 minutes from the daughters place. Added bonus not a chain lake so no milfoil. Has walleye, crappie, pike, blue gill. The lake obviously is surrounded by pines and the lot has pines and oak. At a lake place there is no better sound than the wind blowing thru a pine tree, whispering pines.
Congrats .... hope everything goes as planned for you Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Good luck. Hope things go smoothly with your sale. We just finished moving into our 12th home in our 40 years of marriage. It was the smoothest sale/purchase/move yet. I hope yours goes as well, you rookie!
Yeah 27 years off accumulation, often cursed myself for keeping so much worthless crap while cleaning out the garage and outbuildings.
Do tell... We're fixing the place up and thinking of moving within the next 2 years to (location TBD) where we intend to live and eventually retire. (short term that pretty much only means it needs to be within about 90minutes of a decent airport)
