I always laugh about the part where he loses his woman to "the Charlie Daniel's of the torque wrench", but ultimately she can't resist my level of redneck, so she came back to my double wide. Back when country music was relatable!

I get at least 15 pink note phone message slips a week. Anybody that calls and asks for the president. I insist they are written down with company and contact info. I then do google searches on the company before I call back. The worst are the freight companies, I always explain we have a good broker I do not care about cost of outbound freight the customer is paying for it. I had one freight company that was a pain in the but kept calling and I saved the pink slips. Today I was feeling a little pissy so I got a hold of corporate to explain how pissed I was that they keep calling after I said quit calling. I got a call back individual asked for phone numbers, apologized and red me the call logs to my company she knew the numbers of calls and who made them. She told me they and their supervisors will be dealt with and we will never be called again.

Got up this morning and stepped outside, what a difference a day makes. The ice came off the lake last night makes such a huge difference to look out and see water instead of ice after 6 months. The birds outside are going crazy I stood outside for 5 minutes, heard a tom turkey, loons, sand hill cranes, swans, every other song bird, makes me glad I was awake to see the sun come up. This is why I drive 168 miles a day and work in a meat grinder and it is all worth it.

Stopped at a local bar 2 hours ago. In front was a community dumpster. Seen this and thought?
Got home, put fresh gas in it and pulled many times. No fire.

Untill I seen the gas shutoff valve was closed.
Opened it up and started and runs like a top.
Plugged in a Sawzall and works great.

Saturday morning I will get up my usual time I may sleep in till 5:30. Going over to have breakfast with my boys then bring the pontoon home. I need to pull the rub rail and front of the fence and put down synthetic teak on the floor outside of where the mooring cover protects. Change oil, check plugs and do a sample release of the lower unit oil. After that in the water, first ride of the year Sunday. First boat drink of 2023.

He has to be a single guy..... No wife would tolorate 13 years at a dead end job with mouths to feed. Great story though. I guess when they get to the show the experience is much better. I knew a woman who's brother played minor league ball, got traded then called up. His agent picked him up at the airport and took him to get fitted for suits for travel, while he was getting fitted people broke into the agents car and took all of his stuff. Welcome to the big leagues. BTW he flamed out got caught smoking weed and was suspended then banned.

Local diner, Jams Deli, in Greensboro makes a killer Italian sub and I'm currently waiting for mine. Small town feel in a not so small town that seems to be completely disappearing these days.
