No trees that will Leaf out? It's 70 here out side. Unfortunately I had to stop working and come in. Then close West windows. The winds are howling and sounding like a freight train. No complaints..it's still warm even though 100% cloud cover
Very few, can't be blocking the lake view. Side yard lots of trees but not in front. Front of the house is 75% glass all the way to the vaulted ceiling.
Inlaws had one over the deck to their pool room, loved it But boy oh boy expensive . Then again one whole wing of the house was for a year round pool and fire place, so the awning shouldn't have been too big a concern, yet it was...lol
The smile my son gets on his face when he is pitching and he finds his rhythm. It is predatory. He started the first game of the season on Monday night. He walked the first two batters on full counts, both which had pitches that could have been strikes for the age, the strike zone was a little stingy for 11-12 year old baseball. He then struck out six in a row on 24 pitches.
Nope she is a sun worshiper, the electric in the summer is not that bad never over $200 a month in the summer. I will deal with it.
To possibly get a little bit of relief from ump on strike zone. In other words, don't show too much control during warmups.
My son utilized a somewhat similar strategy as a freshman in high school ball in concert with his catcher. Had the catcher set up for a pitch in one location but target the pitch in another. His coach used to say that he was "wildly" effective until he learned it was by design. Once he was in rhythm, his pitches hit right where he wanted them.
Interesting approach, not sure it would have helped in this game. The other team’s coach was also disappointed by the tight strike zone and my son had far better control than any of the pitchers on his team.
It's disappointing when an ump has a major league strike zone with kids that age. At least he was consistent with both teams
Hunted turkeys on my own property this morning. Love being home in these hills. We have some big trees. Sadly, the birds never showed up.
