16 deer crossed the lake tonight and they cross back over before dark, somebody is feeding. Not allowed in our area but I don't hunt around here kill them so I do not hit them.

Let's hope they don't put you in the shoe department. Helping hunters squeeze into rubber boots all day!

Home town car repair service. Hubby's company truck got a tranny leak. He is using my car and went down to shop to make an appointment. Owners says give me a lift to house and I'll drive the truck down the hill to shop and get to it as soon as possible. He's not only a good machanic but a great guy too!

Yeah it was awesome over the lake last night, beauty of living in the middle of no place, no light pollution.

Went out to put a fresh suet cake in the feeder and some peanut parts on the rock in the yard. Heard a robin, a red winged black bird, and sandhills. Can't stop it spring will come. I love going outside and hearing all kinds of birds singing espically in the spring.

One of the nicest parts of spring . The sound change is so distinct.
yesterday I watched on and off a flock of 7 Jake's and 2 long beard scratching and fighting out the computer room window. They took 4hrs making two loops around 5 of our original 9 1/2 acres. It was fun watching them establish a " pecking" order and which ones were the Guard birds. They didn't leave a square foot un scratched out back. Lots of wing beatings ,hopping and chasing went on as they cleaned up the woodlot, I assume beatles, grubs and worms. This is mainly the hard maple with a few beech thrown in.

Just got back from my birthday dinner at daughters. Wow she's such a great cook PERFECT steaks and so many goodies all geared to my diet. I ate way too much but boy did I enjoy the day with them. Even though they all whooped me in speed yatzee...lol
