Try this again. Going to see Disturbed at the State Fair August 20th. Tried 3 years ago with Megadeth but was cancelled whem Mustaine was diagnosed with throat cancer. Thinking the only cancer this year may be Pritzker and his emergency powers. Seen them with Danzig whem they were still relatively unknown to most. They actually stole the show amd Danzig was pretty damn good as well.
Both of my older boys have been invited to try out for 9/10 league all star team to play in the state championship next month! Try outs are Sunday night.
While all this rain sucks for farming, I got yesterday and the whole weekend to work up at mom's. Pumped out the chloride and replaced the other tube on the other rear tire of the 2010. Other then a wash job, it is done. Got the pump house roof tinned. Today the wife is going along to mow the big yard. I will try to get the JD 720 going. That is going to be a challenge. Got 5 gallons of white paint for the corral and wood posts. Got to replace a window in the loafing barn. Air up tires on other things going on the auction. Look them over. Feels great to have the time for this. Pretty pumped up for the mission.
I worked on the ski boat last night have it all ready to go, (I guess I will know for sure when I put the battery in) My son is coming up to get his dog that we have been watching for a couple weeks and he really wants to take the boat out just to rip around, worth the effort to see that smile when he has the throttle pinned. Sucks I won't be here to see it.
Marital games... Hubby just put up an appliance shelf for me. Which freed up a shelf space for my many Keto cooking essentials. The game... I asked about this,well let's say many weeks ago. Then once a week after. Till some nastiness on his side developed. OK. I knew shelf wasn't going up due to asking, I could have done it but that would have opened a different can, as it were. He hates a cluttered kitchen table. Well by today there was just one 10" x10" spot you could see on the kitchen table. Everything else bags and canisters of food stuffs. The shelf went up and the table is completely clear. . Two happy people. He's says 20 mins later... I know what you were doing....lol
Just back from the farm, went over to change oil in the pontoon. Had my little helper to haul what I needed in the trailer connected to his tractor. We got distracted several times, had to haul the rhubarb tops to the compost heap, Landon got stuck a few times with the tractor too. I may have to stud those plastic tires. It was a great morning.
Elementary school is over, on to middle school in a few months. Straight A student in the GT and EAST programs.
Haha, easy to see why you would think that. My wife took the picture I posted. My MIL was standing next to her screaming obnoxiously loud for him to look at her so she could take a picture. The look on his face is one of embarrassment, there were a lot people in the school gym turning around and looking at us because she was so loud. Unfortunately, that was the best picture I got with him. The one with my wife is much better.
Got the old JD 720 going after sitting 10 years. The pony engine and diesel engine both sounded great. Not bad for a late 1950's tractor.
