Loved it he even went after the bull that missed the hit. Perfect form the bull loaded up his back legs lifted the front and dealt the blow and the follow thru, a perfectly executed, drive the take down thru the player.
Tonight I witnessed my older boys display some grit with a come from behind 6 to 4 win in baseball. My middle son came in to relief pitch halfway through the first inning with the bases loaded after the starting pitcher walked in four runs. He struck out two and pitched into a ground out at second base that was fielded by my oldest playing short stop. In the second inning he struck out three of five batters to keep the other team scoreless. The bats woke up in the top of third and they took the lead. My oldest came into to close out the game. He struck out three of the four batters he faced. Saturday morning he woke up with a fever of 103 and tested positive for the flu. The game tonight was the first time he left our house since coming home from school Friday. Fortunately, his fever had been gone longer than 24 hours by game time so he could play. He didn’t have his normal energy back and his pitching was not as hard as normal. But, he got the job done and having fun while doing it. After the first strike out, he started smiling at the batters like wolf looking at a sheep. The other team’s coach complimented him after the game. My son thanked him and told the other coach he wasn’t throwing his hardest since he was tired after just getting over the flu. The other coach had the “oh sh*t” look on his face when my son told him that. We play them again last game of the season, day before my oldest turns 11.
Fishing trip tomorrow with some friends from high school, taking the travel trailer / camper. This should be an awesome time, Thursday thru Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will probably only be 60 with 30 mph winds. My wife is melting down looking at houses in Florida again.
Well so much for the cultipacker. No I'm not a patient person in the least little bit. When I didn't get a return call..I will say the company now, Titan, hubby called. He went through the same BS and actually talked to dish washing woman whom now had kids yelling in the back ground. He got a run around and she finally said it's prefilled with DIRT. What? What kind of "Dirt"? I don't know. He asked for a call back by someone else. Well Enough is enough in the meantime another one we considered went up 400.00 over night. I nixed the purchase. Which irritated hubby because of time to research it. Oh well I'm not changing my mind done Is done. He has gotten tractor forks from Titan and was happy . That was a few years ago. Obviously things have changed. There will Never be a purchase from there again. I wouldn't trust them even a little now. If he wants to get me something...for that much money I wouldn't mind an E bike. Any of you with one give me ideas please.
for that amount of money hire a gardner, just like Martha Stewart, Then you can show everybody your plots and take credit like she does
Spring leek French onion soup. Onions aren't too Keto friendly but spring is just once a year and I can no longer eat the potato leek soup I make hubby. OMG so good! I have perfected my egg white "bread" and it works even better than the traditional French or Italian toasted bread round in it. I don't care that I'll smell like onions the next week. The leeks this year are wonderful. We are blessed to have land covered in them. P.S. That bread thick sliced just 2g. of carbs.
Today I dug up a bit over 200 ramps. I sorted cleaned and bundled them in 25's. Set up a container of korms with roots and 3 sets of 25 for the daughter. She can find a far corner of her yard to plant them in so they have leeks in a couple of years. Our woods are loaded with them every where.
