I am very happy that I bought my tires at Upsala Motors, same tires that came on my truck but just dealing with them is awesome, my wife got tires there too a few months back. They actually thank you for your business. I walked to the hardware store to BS a bit then went to the C store for a slice of pizza and a soda and listened to the old timers *****.

I too am in process of possible job change. In second round of hiring process at Conoco/Phillips 66. Passed aptitude and personality assessment, resume met qualifications, next will be technical specific craft testing which should be fairly easy. I will definitely be going from “big fish in small pond” to a “krill in the sea”. The benefits are phenomenal.

Had a wild hair up my arse and started watching Gun Fight at the O.K. Corral tonight.

Have never really watched many westerns earlier than the 70's, my dad used to watch them and war movies all the time and everytime I'd go inside my uncles deer hunting old westerns would be on the TV.

Coming to appreciate them, realize that Tombstone and Kevin Costner in Wyatt Earp was written on this movie. It's actually enjoyable to watch and appreciate it for what it was back in 1957.

Also makes me appreciate the lands this country once was, the simplicity of it all before real technological advances.

If reincarnation does exist, I know where I want to be after death, maybe even earlier.

Medical advances be damned, I'd rather live my life back then even if short, than endure deacades where we exist now.

Not fantasizing on being a gunman or a lawman, just someone with a homestead on their own land making a living and providing.

Going to the Falls Ballroom tonight for the fish fry. Will be whole family all 7 of us. One of those things where you look around the table and appreciate what you have.

Have my grandson tonight as my daughter and SIL are going to dinner with friends.

Actually, we have had him 3 other days this week as I pick him up from the sitter when my daughter is the "late" person at work.

Been an enjoyable week not doing anything after work but entertain the little man. Or maybe he entertains me?

When I drive to or from my bar, I pass a slew named Turtle Slew. This morning on my way past I noticed a mallard duck that appeared to be walking on water.

I did a slight double take. It has been raining here for a couple of days and the thin layer of water on top of the ice made it look like it was open water.

Got to love a company that stands behind their products. Shout out to the Badlands warranty and customer service. After two seasons of use, the zippers on both thigh pockets of my Rise pants as well as one of the buttons on the cargo pocket had broken. Just had a package delivered, instead of repairs, I was sent a pair of brand new Resist pants, a slight upgrade over the Rise pants.

Because of covid we got to spend Fridays and Mondays with the grandson when he was 6 months old. I believe the bond you build is strong and will last. When my kids were young they went months without seeing my parents, I prefer to be more involved that is why we moved to where we did. It is also nice to be able to help out your daughter when needed.

Saint Pete's run to the Elite 8.
Their home court gym seats 3200. My high school gym sat 3600.

Also, anyone beating Purdue at anything is pretty awesome.

If you've ever hunted elk, Alaska, or enjoy a good adventure (and have about 90 to spare)
