Same here. I spend more time driving around hunting, shed hunting, scouting and hauling animals to the vet than I do driving to work. Drive my truck in the winter but spring through fall, the 06 Ford Escape gets the miles put on it to save on the truck. Love both vehicles and they should last me a long time yet. The 14 Ford 150 has 76 thousand miles on it. I bought it in in 2017 with 46, 000 miles. Started driving the 06 Escape in 2013 with 97,000 and it now has 135, 000. Damn I drive around a lot more in the winter with the truck !! That does see bigger road trips though then the Escape ever did since I have been driving it. Wife puts on close to 25,000 mile a year with her job and our road trips.
I drive 830 miles a week just going back and forth to work, my 2121 pickup has over 50,000 miles on it need new tires.
I would hope 100 years from now, tires would no longer be necessary as we will all be getting around via jet pack.
Hey, if jet pack allows me to road trip without listening to the kids argue for 10 hours in the car, I want a jet pack.
So I don't normally share but this has been such a long wait and I'm so Happy! 3yr old grandsons first hair cut. From the mouths of babe's his 6 yr old brother " About time! He's needed a cut". BTW...Same brother got in trouble last year for trying to cut it himself...lol
My son grew out his hair he could do what ever he wanted as long as he was on the honor roll. Went to the Packers football camp william henderson asked him if his hair was long because he was a skateboarder, when my son said I can do what I want as long as I get A's he was a star.
Every little boy or girl need their first hair cut. His brother gets to have what ever cut he wants...usually he has a Mohawk. Their Dad had Mohawks and shaved head. He now has the greatest head of long wavy thick hair. My Gosh I Envy him that mop of chestnut hair. . I've never been hung up on hair styles for men or woman..Well other than " all business in front/ party in the back" LOL...and a need for that first cut....poor little guy ended up with grams thin fly away hair...I hope that changes.

Wifes team in the conference finals tomorrow. Winner gets an auto birth into the NCAA tournament, the loser an auto birth into the second largest tourney, the WNIT. Her school has never been to a D1 post season tourney. They won their 20th game of the year tonight, never been done before at that school. What a hell of a year so far!
