Hearing a friend testament this morning...who 6 months ago came down with covid... Nearly died. Was on the vent, had a tracheotomy, months of rehab and recovery...powerful. Good is good.

Discovered the son's hound will run with the 4 wheeler, sure makes it easy to wear him down.

I do that all the time with my dogs. One has to lead and the other follows ....... everywhere I go, they go. Works great for tiring them out.

They also follow me up and down the easement while I'm grading it. It is a 1/2 mile long and I make 6-8 trips down and back for about 3-4 miles of walking for them.

I am on a roll this week. I won a $5 Starbucks gift card, and won 2 Jameson tumblers from a fundraising drawing at the liquor store. I don't drink starbucks coffee and the two tumblers cost me $20

Just realized how little I actually drive these days. I've driven my car 3,000 miles since last July. Working from home has been a blessing with the way gas prices are these days.

I average just under 7,000 miles a year, have since 2006. If I were to quit mushroom hunting in the spring and deer hunting in the fall it would be closer to 4,500.

Watching 10 big healthy looking deer in the farmers field....snows deep.again . They must be tired of eating the other neighbors tree tops...Wow they are still cutting trees. The place is looking a tad bare.
