Hamburger. Quite a few variations of it as far as what people put in for vegetables but it's hard to find a better hotdish.

Like any real farmer would, tater tot hot dish must be served with bread of some kind.

Absolutely. Good old piece of wheat bread-and-butter and make yourself a tater tot hot dish sandwich. Then use it to clean up the plate afterwards. I need to eat dinner, I'm starving now.

Rotating stuff in the deep freeze and unearthing a sneaky bag of last years backstraps that have eluded you all year. I know what to do with those

My dispatcher got me a card and a cute dog calendar for Boss's Day. She is the only one who even acknowledged it and it warms the heart. I do love my job as stressful as it is at times.

My nephew is finally getting some interest and is heading to his first official football visit tomorrow. Watching a college game and meeting the coaching staff.

High of 44 day wet damp cool day going to get into the 30's possible first frost. Watching wood ducks fly into the bay huge raft of gulls out on the lake. I don't miss my wood burning insert or my corn stove, hit the remote and the fireplace is on. I did turn on the inflow heat, it's time. Looking forward to ice fishing.

My son finally got back to school this year after being out for 3 years. He went to a ball game with 2 girls tonight. Not bragging. Simply overwhelmed with happiness.

Found out that the tenants next door to me are moving out today. They weren't nice at all. Everytime I said hey they would look the other way. They'd play music till 4 in the morning. Thankful I won't have to deal with them anymore.

Just reflecting on years gone by.
Many times I'd sneak out and shoot a red fox or coyote. If the pelt was not worth the drag back! I'd curl it up on a high snowpack.
Was funny as hell seeing foot tracks next time by "doing a stalk" in the snow.

You know you are in a good town when they have signs up honoring the people that have served our country and live in the town and those who died serving.

Service school is over tomorrow at noon, first year as MC of the event my logistics guy had the covid but it was excellent. Everybody involved has done it for years, I said guess what you know what to do no micro managing come to me with issues but do your thing. The evaluations are all good we had a good time and it really brought the team together.

That being said I am headed home ASAP in the morning, grandson is at the lake for the weekend I only have Friday and Saturday with the lad. Can not wait till his grandpa and godfather take him to Lambeau.

Didn't realize I had turned off the audio alerts on Waze, just blew by a State Trooper allegedly running radar at 14 over. Didn't take the bait.

My uncle said 21 was the over where would pull someone over. Now that didnt mean you were getting a ticket if you had a valid excuse. You know like you are running late to the deer stand or fishing hole.
