didn't know the Brownings had that rounded pistol grip. Every image I found on the intranets with that style handle was a Remmy Model 11 pre-1930.
Almost 40 yrs later the old Tonka trucks have found a new owner. I found these old gems when i was cleaning out my moms basement. I remember playing with these for hours.
Ive got a model 11 in 16ga. Its my dads actually. Beautiful gun. Ill get it out of the safe tomorrow for a closer look. He shot alot of pheasants and rabbits and quail with that gun
I posted on this forum a couple years back, I shot a few rounds of trap with that R11 and my other my friend's other grandpa's Remmy Model 58 just for the hell of it. Hadn't shot competitive shotguns in over 25 years, and that was as a kid. I took 3rd. With both guns being over 50 years old. Not a single failure, either. I was so proud I about cried. ..for my buddy, that is.
true story, my grandpa was on Michigan Out of Doors many many years ago with that Model 58. That gun has probably killed THOUSANDS of ducks/geese.
Pulling into the driveway after work just getting ready to start a 3 day weekend and seeing your kids car from out of state parked in the drive. What great surprise! Getting to see my 10 month old grandson and kids for the first time in 4 months... Party at my house tonight! Steaks and shrimp on the BBQ, birthday cake for the daughter for desert! Life is good!
My boys are playing flag football this fall, games are on Sunday afternoons. Now, I can experience football on Sundays without the political crap show the NFL has become.
I’m going to be doing a batch of St Louis for the Packers game tomorrow. Smoked Mac N Cheese and shrimp as an appetizer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
