The Fiskar brand I'm using is not very heavy but splits wood real well. They have a cult following. Bob, neither of my gramps burned wood that I recall but I can envision doing it with them. Guessing it would been good times.
When I tried with an ax (because my handle was broken) my shoulders hurt like hell, I thought it was the concusion coming back from the lower mass head.
My son coming up for his mom's birthday, took him water skiing last night. But he was here for me when his mother decided she wanted to go zip lining on her birthday, they are leaving at noon headed to Brainard they are stopping at a micro brew on the way. I am in logistics I will start supper when they are on their way home. I don't have to zip line and drink craft beer, I get to be home alone I do like my alone time.
Rainy day here home alone seemed like a perfect day to watch My Bunny Lies Over the Sea, made in 1948 makes me think I was born 18 years too late.
My blood pressure is under control..... from 2 hours after I get home from work till I leave for work. Would love a week where I don't have to negotiate with a customer, rep, or vender because of employee error.
Today was great. Other then splitting some wood, I did a WHOLE lot of nothing. Was great basically lounging in my boxers most of the day.
Steak and shrimp with fish potatoes and coleslaw then ripped the wife and son around the lake on the tube making them tumble.
