Killing yellowjackets. The gasoline kills em, but I like to light them up. Sent from my SM-G781V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
That's great to see but....aahhh geezzzz, you've reminded me that the time for nasty ground bee attacks is just about here. Late summer every year, they turn into little bass turds.....
Oh, just a little follow up on this. I have a couple of my spit arrows hanging on the wall in my mancave that my niece asked me about. Niece- "Uncle Bob, you think I'll ever split an arrow?" Me- "That fact that you're asking almost guarantees it." Super duper proud uncle moment.
My 2 year old got his first bow. He won’t put it down. Hes now hitting Gatorade bottles off a box at 5 yds about half the time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A.J. killed his first heard (wrote garden ) rabbit...rolled it and it ended up 3 ft from my feet. He hit it so hard he couldn't find it again...I pointed it out and he immediately snapped it's neck. Unlike when I lit him upon for finding the fawn, he got a good good boy! And a treat from me.... Unfortunately 15 mins later he kicked up a flock of hens and poults. He got a bar nbc ad ( wrote, bad, bad,)boy for that one..he didn't he v e(have) his collar on. Then was made to come home...they all got away but he has to learn predators and varmits only!!! One less pest in the garden...root worms are killing me,nothing is killing them. Today I had to resort to Digging up my broccoli and cabbage and squishing the stinking things by hand and replanting the plants. It's a waiting game now....
The Hubble Telescope. I cant get enough of the pictures. Cant believe why anyone would think we are alone in this Universe. This is just a tiny view of other galaxies....
This could've been a rant too I suppose, but chose to be patient. I ordered a new $1100 Bowtech hat on January 20th. (They throw in a RH 70lbs regular Solution in smoke gray with the hat.) Here we are 25 weeks from then and still waiting. Well the call finally came in yesterday, it has finally arrived. I was really beginning to think it wouldn't be here in time to be set up for archery elk season. I will go down Friday after work and get it all set up and the initial paper tune done on it, but I ran down to give the tech a set of aftermarket string/cable I bought for it and so got to look it over. Initial inspection shows no flaws that I can see. The hat fits pretty good too. Can't wait to start flinging some arrows out of it.
We got enough sprinkles to wet the tar... Not even enough to wet the ground under an overhanging branch. Praying the storms hit us here in Foley tomorrow night. At least a downpour. Anything. Please. We need it so badly I haven't had to mow my lawn in 2 weeks.
Hot Mommy to 2 year old boy wearing Boots and a Diaper: "awwww, he's adorable" Hot Mommy to 42 year old man wearing Boots and a Diaper: "ewwww, call the cops!"
you know it's funny, I didn't get a hat with my BowTech. I did get a truck window sticker that delaminated after 2 seasons, though. So I g t t at oi g f r me. ...at least the bow is still flinging darts!
