I may have casually mentioned that I have a grandson that I care for very much. The Lad is so like his Mother, over this morning to pick him up because parents are both working today. The lad wakes up and has his milk then it is outside he has to go out and water the chickens then go see the bull. That is how he starts his day every day have to get up and do chores.
My wife loves garage sale shopping. I hate it, so she usually goes on Friday mornings while I am at work. This week, she lucked into a brand new Block target for $8. Last one I bought cost me almost $100. I counted the holes from the previous owner’s shots, 22. A block target for $8 bucks that had only been shot 22 times.
Anybody else on the east coast staying up hoping to get to see that bigass Chinese rocket burning up?
My wife drinking her coffee on a Sunday morning watching into the blue fishing show, she was bitching because she had already seen this episode. I went to go change the channel and she stopped me, she wanted to watch it again. I think she likes saltwater fishing more than I do.
Today is going to be a great day, the kids and the grandson will be over this afternoon I am making pulled pork, the dock is going in. My favorite days are days when the family is all here, I don't get enough of those but I will settle for 2 days in a row with the grandson.
I think I struck a deal with the neighbor he owns a lot in town that used to have a house on it now it just has a small garage. I think that is where we are putting in the storage garages. Perfect retirement business, even though I will probably never retire.
HAPPY MOMS DAY To all the ladies out there and enjoy the day with family to all the men. To those of us that are no longer blessed with Mom here with us...enjoy all the good memories you have. A blessing every one.

So today while putting in the dock my neighbor told me that the former owner used to pay $250 to have the dock put in and taken out. Told my son and son in law that we are never taking out or put in the dock ever again.
I live in small town USA on purpose. Earlier they had a senior parade for the class of 21 that came by my house complete with police escort. I live right by the high school and anytime these young guys and gals win (or lose) a big game they get an escort back to school right by me. I love the support this town gives em. God bless the USA. I still have hope. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
At 2:30 this morning my first grandson entered the world. 7 lbs 6 oz. It's possible I might've waited too long to try one more time for a son. I have a 7 year old son that is the uncle now to a 3 year old niece, a 5 month old niece, and a just born nephew. ha ha
My oldest is cool, calm, and collected. She calls me last night saying she is having a panic attack about college. I told her she is an excellent student, athlete...she works and has saved up money. And she has always helped with the care of my two youngest which has been immense. I'm like Isabel, college is going to feel easy compared to what you've done. She sort of laughed. Then today I'm out working on the fishing poles and it hit me, she is leaving in a month for 5 weeks of pre season bball stuff.
