They’ve been tight lipped all season, gobble like hell right off roost and dead quiet quick. I’ve taken 2, he has 1, buts it’s been slow.

    Spot and stalk.
Used it to call, but a guy I work with makes calls, mainly to promote them, I put them in all my turkey pictures. I’ve been making offers to buy his equipment and turn my own calls, but he’s not ready to sell yet. Not a huge thing, pretty low key and local. You know the deal, free stuff-advertise...
I mean, I couldn’t have done it without my super tone turkey blaster call and Walmart pants, you should all buy them or you’re super poor and suck at hunting.
Pic without the call and teaching him to clean a bird.

Seller accepted our contingent offer on some land...the clock has started for the due diligence. Time to engage a surveyor and get a perc test ordered.

When your little girl calls and asks if I can whip up some noodles and venison dogs because it is a beautiful day and she is bringing the grandson to the lake.

86 degrees in Minnesota today. Such a welcoming day.

Wonder how many Minnesotans got absolutely fried by the sun today? A lot haha.

Guys running in the middle of a busy roadway. Love it. Half the honks are supportive, the other half are pissed off. Lol

Let's face it, Willie could half ass an album and it would be better than 99% of the stuff being put out today. But this, this is just great...

That's hill country NY...tomorrow morning will be 52 at 4 a.m. I half roosted...saw their general direction late, so may go after biggest of them in morning. Looks like weather and my schedule changes will be challenging and I love wild turkey meat. Let's hope I have them close to set up to call in. Rain due early .

Last night reinforced a theory I have. Last night my wife and I took the boat over to Big Birch to check it out from the water we had looked at a few places on the lake before we found ours. We went out for dinner at the Rock Tavern sat in the upstairs dinning room at the bar. We had a lovely dinner was very good and under $60 including drinks. I tip 25% always do. Our waitress, the bartender gave me **** about being a Packer fan but she was a local fine young attractive woman who has a job at the local school but has student loans so she tends bar on the weekend. We conversed turns out her uncle built our house and she helped with the finish work when she was in college.

My dumb ass left my phone sitting on the bar when we left I leave for Florida in the AM, the restaurant is only open Thursday- Saturday being without a cell is not an option. My phone got delivered to the house this morning, so awesome, so grateful so small town.

Tip your server well it may pay you back at some point like a karma thing.

Hmm, may have to double my tips now.

Gonna start tipping 2% instead of 1%

Just finished a trip with my wife to visit her eldest daughter and her husband. It was a great time. It was a bit over 4 hours each way and about 250 miles.

I was very impressed with the ride quality of my Ram truck however the mpg impressed me the most.
