Best songs that never got air time on the radio?

    What are some songs you like that never got played on the radio?

    I was listening to STP earlier and some of their best songs never made it to the radio or at least I do not recall hearing them on the radio.

    yeah, I know... most of you are grumbling... This might be your first introduction to John Hartford... He wrote the song Gentle on my Mind that Glen Campbell made famous in the 70's. - fact check, it was 1967... I guess that makes me old...

    Renegade by STYX. They played it for just a couple weeks then nothing. Loved this song when it first came out.

    They played the heck of that here where I live. I still hear it to this day on local radio. It always makes me smile because I think of Billy Madison every time I hear it.
