    Looking to invest in a shotgun mic for my HF G20. Trying to keep it under $150 (in college so on a budget :/) What are some of your favorites?

    Yep ... that one. I use it on my DSLR rig. Great mic for the money.

    Uh huh... I run it on my G20, great mic
    for a few extra bucks you can order it with the dead cat.

    I have two of the Rode VideoMic, it's fantastic. I'm also a big fan of the NTG2, but its much larger and if you don't have XLR it can be a PITA hooking it up to a 3.5mm. I'd recommend the Rode VideoMic, get it, you won't regret it!
