I know I could go back and look thru a few hundred threads but what is everyone favorite spray to eliminate your scent right before you enter the field?

I am completely out and will be trying to get some tomorrow.

Everyone on BHOD is using Tinks, but I haven't tried it yet, I use dead down wind. I killed a 142" ten point on the 7th, wind was kinda swirling and he never knew I was there. I would like to try the Tinks though

I go back and forth between Robinson Outdoor Products' Scent Blocker and Wildlife Research Center's Scent Killer. I think both work well but to state the obvious make sure you hunt the wind because that stuff isn't foolproof. Good luck out there.

I'm not loyal to any one brand, but I used scent away dirt flavor on regular boots and all over and had a doe come right under my stand across my path I took earlier. It was wet cause it rained in the morning . The doe ended up down wind kinda and got a nose full she was alert but after a few minutes moved on without any signs of being nervous.

I am a fan of the scent-a-way earth scent also, has worked really well for me the last few years, have had several deer come in down wind, and one even come in on the same trail I did when I was hunting from the ground.

I use the Wildlife Research Center scent killer , mainly cause it doesn't have much of a smell itself and seems to help eliminate odor . I did purchase some of the tinks this year and it does not seem to have much odor but haven't really had a chance to test it yet .

Scent Killer or Dead Down Wind. I was using DDW while hunting from a natural ground blind this evening, and had a doe come straight in and stop 8 feet from me. She never knew I was there, but too bad I couldn't draw, lol.

Dead down wind... I convinced myself tonight after I got off work and didn't take a shower(I use their body wash, deodorant, etc) my wife left with my truck, that had my ddw field spray in it... I hunted anyway and got busted by a doe.... Now no one knows if I would have got busted anyway or not...but I've had deer a lot closer that didn't catch my wind.

I like the tinks, and not just because they are a sponsor of the show. Frank and I have had great success with the b tech. I love the bag in can design that allows you to spray when the can is upside down. It works great for spraying your boots, witch in my opinion is the most important step.

I have used scent killer and dead down wind. I like everything I have ever used from Tinks. I have also made my own cover scent, not scent eliminator, but cover.

Go to your stand, gather the acorns, leaved, twigs, pine cones or needles, some dirt...whatever? place it in a pot and boil for 30-45 minutes....strain and cool. Pour it into a spray bottle and go to work! My last batch might be a bit too strong on the pine/spruce, but that smells like a tree, not a human. We will see how it does.

I also used some Primos spray, not a huge fan.

I like the earthy fall blend smells best?
