I purchased a new Bowtech this summer and never put the quiver to use until last Saturday. Well as you can guess the quiver wasn't tight enough to hold my arrows and when I push the Rage's up into the foam they deployed. Just curious if any of you have solved this problem or have a quiver that your would suggest that is mechanical friendly. I was lucky to have looked down at my quiver before I lost about 3 arrows. Thanks guys.

I have the quiver and love it, however I do not shoot mechanicals so I can't help you with that.

I've been checking out Athens Archery's new quiver...it looks pretty sweet actually. Has the tree mount and bow hook built into the quiver itself! Styled a lot like my Fuse only more versatile.

I think I am going to give this one a try depending on the price when it is finally released.

What I did on my Bear Claw Quiver was put the practice head on a old crappy arrow and heated it up with a torch just enough to melt the foam in the shape of the Rage head, and it seems to work great!

When u do this make sure you wiggle from side to side a little bit to oversize the hole though

    Good Luck:)

That is a great idea. I might have to give that try. Not sure if it will help with the arrow slipping down out of place though.

SO your arrow shafts are loose too...then maybe switch to diff quiver first, one trick I learned was to take a rubber band and hook it on each side of quiver back in the day when I didnt have much money

I would suggest looking at the Bohning quivers, they are under 30 bucks and thry have two clips with no foam in the hood so they are perfect for expanibles.

Alpine Archery's Soft lock. Has a removable foam core for expandables, and you can put it back in for field tips. My good buddy has one on his DXT, and I just put one on my dad's PSE Mossy Oak X.

    Pretty slick IMO...

I am carrying tthe Rage 2 blades with me this year and havent had a problem with a Kwikkie Quiver!!

I have had this quiver for probably 8 years or better, so the rubber is worn in quite a bit so i dont know if this helps with the mechs or not? I do know howver that I am having a heck of a time keeping my arrows with my Slick tricks hold tight in it!!

    Gd Luck!!

    Ditto what Siman said.

    Bohning Lynx 4-arrow quiver.

Two rubber grippers, open hood, small/compact, and cheap.

Detachable as well- just flip a lever either way to lock it in or take it out. I got mine for $39 at Gander Mt.

I would have to say upon getting my new Apex MQX Nano 5 arrow that it is friendly all the way around! It has two shaft holders on it that even hold my Axis arrows tightly, and it's simply a rubber insert in the hood that holds just the very tip of the bh's. So whether you're shooting fixed or mechs, it will work and no blade dulling on the fixed! The camo version is about $45 and the Bone Collector graphite finish is about $50, and I also love the magnetic mounting system, talk about quick detach!
