The B1G is going to be a very fun conference this year. We will find out Saturday if my Illini are for real top 10 and regardless they are not going to be pushovers like the last few years. Should be some entertaining basketball this winter.
I haven't watched him play enough to really say, but I'd have to go with Trey Burke. You could make the case for Ben McLemore, but he's been pretty inconsistent, although he's probably a better pro prospect. As far an impacting the game you can make an argument for Oladipo, but Burke has his hand in everything and is a better facilitator. Marcus Smart is pretty good, too. So is Michael Carter Williams. Oladipo. He put the locks on Burke both times they played. Yeah, yeah...Burke scored twenty-some points in both games against IU, but it took him twenty-plus shots to get there.
