I went on a hunt where we rode our 4wheelers for a good bit on some dirt roads. I had my bow on the gun rack up front and it got pretty dusty. What is the best way of cleaning the bow? Thanks.

Dusty or muddy?? If it's just dusty blow it off, but be a bit careful around the cams.

I live pretty much in the desert, so it got real dusty (no mud). It is caked with dust in every crevice, and the string also got a real good dusting of dirt. I wiped it down real good where I could, but can't get into where I really need to clean it---joints, pivot points, etc. Maybe I have to break down the whole thing...

I just hose mine off and rub the mud/blood off it. Might want to wax the string.

After the season I use dawn dish soap and warm water. get in all the cracks and crevices with a q tip. a small sponge for the bigger areas and a good rinse!
