First matched set of the year (hopefully not the last) And yes, they are a match, working on getting a picture of the buck in velvet, got it on video, but having issues getting a screen shot.
Here is my 9 point set found on 2-3-10! They where around 4 to 5 feet apart! Just got this picture finally so here is the set in hand!
sheds Here is a set I found last week. I did not have a camera with me when I found them so I have no ground pics. I found them about 5 feet apart laying in mud in a briar patch.
I found these this past weekend on our farm in NW MO. They were laying on a creek botttom bank overlooking the creek bottom to the south (good set up for a deer with a N or NW wind). At first I thought is was a dead buck and that I would find the skull attached they were so close together, the buck must have dropped them both while he was bedded there. The right side scored 63 2/8 and the left scored 63 4/8. Very symmetrical rack. The pics are on the Team 6 thread (it won't let me double post them).
bow I go in and resave them under a new name when I need to post the same pix.. love to see them over here.
I tried to rename them and even moved them to another folder but it still won't let me post them again...it's smarter than I am apparently.
If you want them on here you can send me a pm and I can add them to my photobucket account and just send you the links to the pictures. If you want to do this send me a pm and I will reply with my e-mail address so you can send me the pictures that way.
Here are the sets that my old man and I have found so far this year (probably all that we will find actually) If anyone wants to see the ATL pictures to go along with them or an estimated distance between each set (ranged from 18" to probably close to 600 yards) I can take a stab at getting the information out there...... Biggest ones with some perspective :D
I found these old dinosaurs about 15 yards apart, would love to know what that left side browtine looked like before it was chewed off!
My buddys set this year... year old set but one side score 99 2/8 and the other 71 3/8. http://www.racked-out.com
Another set he found fresh this year. 163" main frame 5x4 so much tine mass.... all his sheds are found in North Idaho and in national forests. that means nothin but mountians.
