It doesn't take all that to get them to find it. Location has been the number one thing I have found that always works with a new mineral station or corn pile. I have put corn in the middle of a field and it took two weeks for them to find it but, they did and it didn't take them long to clear out 50lb. Find a trail move about 15-20 feet off that trail and clear about a 6' area clear of leaves and poor your mineral of choice out in the middle of it. When I started my last one I sprinkled a little out from the middle of the mineral station to the trail. They found it within 24 hours. Try it if you want though. Thats one of the things I find fun about deer hunting.
