Touche. Well.. I didn't write that.. but I understand that. But it still doesn't answer the question of what makes a "best" hunter. If hunter A only chooses 1 species.. that's just his/her choice.. but it wouldn't make him/her any less a good hunter because of it. If hunter B choose 50 different animals.. does that make him/her better? Someone answer what makes a "best" hunter. Trophy size? Animals killed? Multi-species killed? Number of multi-species killed? I want to know.. cause I don't believe this has an answer.. at least not a non-biased one.
No.. no.. no.. please take no offense to what I'm asking.. and it was in NO way intended at any one person who posted prior to mine. I just don't understand the definition of "best" hunter.. I don't. Like I said.. I know some good hunters. Of those good hunters.. not 1 of them is better than another.. cause I just don't know how they could be. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses... each has their own luck and un-luck... each has their own variables which contribute directly to how good they are. Simply choosing who's best would only be done by (any author) in a biased way.. Either way.. I don't get it.
Who is the best guitar player ever? Some called Clapton God, but he never attained that status. Was he the best you knew/know? Maybe, but that is just your opinion, which is what I think the thread starter was after to begin with...Opinions.
My best friend Wayne is the most talented deer hunter I have ever met or known....just plain deer hunting, he was awesome. He doesn't hunt anymore, but he taught me everything about deer hunting. He could step right back in the woods today and be very successful.
Of those I know personally? Jason Taylor. Guy is a MACHINE at killing things, and a great friend of mine to boot. I can't really claim internet friends, so the title is likely short lived until November when I meet Will (E Nelson, haha) in person.
