Chip in a few more dollars and get the Lone Wolf. As for screw in steps make it easy and safer for yourself by using Cranford Ezy Climb tree steps......they have several different models. Much easier to screw in and are very sturdy, best screw in steps made in my opinion.

I lean more towards the less expensive models 'cause I am cheap! I have one Lone Wolf set-up I purchased pre-kids. I love the weight of it, but if I have to sit more than 2 hours my butt and back are killing me. I see some of you suggested a Muddy seat cushion. Good suggestion for the LW also? I have not used the LW for the past few years 'cause of the comfort factor. Instead, I use a $31 River's Edge hang-on. Help!

I totally agree. I have the M100 now and I love it. It is hands down the MOST comfortable stand on the market. And you can buy the extra Cam Lock Receivers and hunt multiple locations with just one stand. If you buy it, you will not be disappointed.
