So like allot of us, I have been trying to find the best gloves for bow season seemingly endlessly over the years. Last year I found WROXX. I immediately cut off the index finger for my release and started using them. Turned out I loved them. Near the end of bow and the beginning of the really cold season I did notice the seams ripping. I didn't think anything of it. Fast forward to this year and they make they way into my routine again. But the seams are getting worse. I go on their website to order more and before I do I left a contact us email. I stated there facts, thanked them and went about my way. Last night I received a email from the owner ( that's either amazing customer service or really small company ). He thanked me and asked my address to send be a few new pairs!. I don't sign my name to product often guys, you know that. But wow, I loved these gloves before the awesome customer service. Just wanted to throw this out there for you guys.
I've never found a good glove for bowhunting. I buy the bulk pack of regular black jersey gloves at menards.
Nice! I should email Wolverine about my boots sole falling off. I've been actually meaning to do this. It can't hurt.
One of the reasons I tried these is they come back far up the arm so they don't bunch at wrist strap for release.
Couple things on gloves... 1. They all suck. 2. If you cut the thumb/index finger off, they all fall apart eventually. I've grown to accept this fact. 3. If I learned how to sew, I could probably prevent that from happening. 4. I have no intention on learning how to sew. 5. Why any hunting company makes gloves with the thumb and index finger is beyond me. Sitka is the only one who does it right and makes them without those parts so you don't have to cut them off. 6. They still all suck.
I can second all these things and I find the timing of this thread ironic as I was sitting in a stand this past weekend looking at a fresh seam unraveling in my thin gloves that came made with the trigger finger and thumbs cut off and sewn..."why the hell can't anyone make a good thin fingerless bowhunting glove?"
Looks like a leather (or maybe hide-like synthetic) on the palm, with that tree pattern maybe a silicon?
Description Additional information Reviews (3) Description Extreme breathability & warmth Silicone palm improves your grip Form fit allows for increased dexterity Touchscreen capable index fingers & thumbs Moisture management technology wicks away sweat Extra-long gauntlet (cuff) gives added protection to forearm Brushed polyester interior for comfortable wear Polyester/Lycra (87% Polyester, 13% Lycra) Exclusive Wild Woods Camolith Camo Pattern
Gimmick. Who's hand sweat on stand? Palm needs to be smooth, not a grip. Camo glove? Lol. Extreme durability n warmth?? Compared to what?
my hands sweat all the time in a non-breathable glove I prefer a grip camo gloves help hide light colored hands which move and attract more attention than anything in the moment of truth not sure which brands it is being compared to; but I look for both durability and warmth
As per you, you would be comparing then to the Jersey gloves you use. Or to nothing at all. They aren't claiming to have reinvented the micro chip here it's a pretty generic description of a glove.
Here is what I use: https://www.amazon.com/Manzella-Mens-Bow-Sniper-Gloves/dp/B00KZD00IO?th=1&psc=1 As someone who self-films, gloves are incredibly important for covering your hand movement when adjusting the camera(s). I actually wear this pair of gloves year round, even during our firearm season. During the late season, the gloves also come in handy because touching the cold metal when setting up or tearing down is what chills me the most.
You must wear tactical gloves designed for the task at hand. In all honesty there is not a glove in the world that will keep your hands warm when you are sitting as still as possible.
